Propably the most urban birdwatching site in Helsinki is the Asematunneli. It is warm and dry throught the year, shops are open till 22.00 if you get thirsty or something, and the birds are quite used to people.
On the minus side, there is not very much diversity in asematunneli, it is not very likely to spot any very rare bird there.
I must olso mention, that it is olso kind of forbidden to take photographs there, so you might get in trouble with the security guards.
Well, lets make some things clear first: I am not a bird photographer, I never even liked bird photoghaphy. Still after I bought my first tele lens I have had this strange urge to take pictures of birds. So pictures of urban birds, mostly downtown Helsinki. Propably no rarities, mostly pigeons, ducks and other urban species.

Actually, photography is not forbidden inside Asematunneli, as it is a public location, which by default means taking pictures is OK.
Not that this would ensure you wouldn't be harassed by the guards.
